On December 8th established "Hua Eng Copper and Iron Industry Co., Ltd.", the factory address is No. 10 Gu-Shan 3rd Road Gu-Shan District, Kaohsiung, operating copper wire manufacturing processing business.

On November 24th, Gushan factory completed the construction of the wire plant, started production of various wire products.

On March 1st, approved the use of "Hua Eng" brand, as a registered trademark.

On February 15th, the construction of the first phase of the Kao-nan factory was completed. The plant address is No.30, Kao-nan Highway, Jen-wu Dist., Kaohsiung; Started production of various power and communication cables.

On December 8th, The 20th Anniversary Celebration Ceremony and Oxygen-free Copper plant Grounding Ceremony were held in Kao-nan Factory.

On June 15th, Taiwan's first completion of Chunghwa Telecom 「Kinmen ~ Lieyu submarine communication cable」production and deployment, and won the award from the Ministry of Transportation and Communications.

On December 24, 2019, through completing Taipower's 161kV turnkey project, Hua Eng won the 19th Executive Yuan Public Construction Commission Golden Quality Award, and the 13th Public Construction Golden Safety Award.
